Chitra Nawbatt is the author of The CodeBreaker Mindset™, providing a framework to understand the rules, pivots and serendipity to achieving goals and dreams. She is not your average author writing from linear and homogenous contexts. As a first-generation university graduate, from humble beginnings in South America, Chitra's impressive career pierced many barriers and ceilings across six highly coveted global industries. She was one of the youngest recruited to global professional services firm EY while still an undergraduate student. Chitra was an early adopter and innovator in fintech. At Deutsche Bank, in addition to achieving C-Suite roles, she created the Working Capital Efficiency Calculator, fintech software, well before fintech became a category.

Chitra then defied career gravity making a very non-linear pivot, becoming a TV news anchor in New York City, the #1 media market in North America, for Reuters and other reputable news brands. Subsequently, she joined a top global digital transformation consulting firm, creating a new category of function as Market Maker, with the extra bar of being industry agnostic. In this role she served as a trusted growth and digital transformation advisor to the Fortune 1000 C-Suite. In her next adventure, Chitra was able to align her passion and expertise as a business launcher and builder, by becoming a partner in a global multibillion dollar venture capital firm. She created a value creation and ecosystem business development function unique to the venture capital industry, for a portfolio of 75+ companies across various sectors including technology, healthcare, fintech, media and consumer.
